First Indian Female War Room

“When the going gets tough, the tough get going”. This quote by Joseph Kennedy has been proven by the all-woman run Covid-19 Emergency Response Team of sunSTRATEGIC, who are working round-the-clock to help patients who have tested positive for Covid-19 and are in need of attention and help. We have collaborated with StepOne and created India’s first Covid-19 Emergency Response Team, which consists of the toughest of women working tirelessly to save lives.

sunSTRATEGIC & ERT

There are no weak women, they don’t exist, and under the leadership of Ms. Sherina Kapany, sunSTRATEGIC, an award-winning call center and content agency, has been proving it by employing and empowering women since 2013. A team of women who have started working in the digital world manifested that ‘Women are always on Top” is the norm, not an exception at sunSTRATEGIC. We truly believe in empowering women and providing them with opportunities, giving them a chance to kick-start or rekindle their careers.

By working directly with the Government, our team of women warriors will save lives by providing emergency intervention to people in critical conditions. By running India’s first All-Woman Covid-19 War Room, we want to positively impact lives by connecting people to the right aid during the pandemic.

How does the ERT Function?

We get in touch with patients who require emergency help, understand their needs and get them the help they require.

We also put patients in touch with a doctor, follow up on their diagnosis and take appropriate action.

We get in touch with the Nodal Officers of all the Eight Zones of Bengaluru to ensure that the bed recommended by the doctor for each patient is booked.

Our team mainly works for patients who require emergency beds, that is, High Dependency and Intensive Care beds (with and without ventilator).

We follow-up and ensure that the patient has reached the hospital safely in an emergency ambulance.
